18" Foil balloons are basically simple to screen print as they do not change shape or stretch.
The printing process is far more complicated with latex balloons. Latex balloons are printed when inflated! This makes the process very complicated especially when printing multiple colours - getting precise registration takes years of practise. Click on the sample links on the right - and check out close registration. The balloon is squashed each time a colour is printed - we have to squash the balloon in the same position to get the registration perfect! Once the balloon is printed the ink needs to dry before the balloon is deflated - usually the balloon is held and then dragged through a drying machine. Then the balloons are simply placed in a tumble drier to strink them down to their original size.
Printed balloons are used for promotion's decorations and balloon releases. Balloon printing represents a fantastic way of getting your information infront of potential clients.
Used in promotions as give-aways - balloons attract potential customers to your shop or stand. Once the balloon has been taken it then becomes a moving advert with your web address or phone number. Balloons stand out and attract attention, your moving advert will be seen on the high street, in back of a car and in the home.
