Implementation and Control of Risk
Hazardous Task - Risk Method of Control
Falling Cylinders Cylinders are transported on trollys and
stored horizontally. When the balloons
have been inflated the cylinders are returned
to vehicles and secured with ventilation
Helium Balloon Gas Helium is an inert gas. Each cylinder is filled
to high pressure - 200 bar. All cylinders taps are
secured tight if the cylinder is not in use.
BOC Filling kits are used to inflate balloons.
Strong Winds and balloons Depending on weather conditions different
methods can be used to contain the balloons
once inflated. Balloons can be stored in either
a large nylon bag or a net. 500 lb Nylon line
